Blain|Southern is delighted to announce that it will be representing Yinka Shonibare, MBE, in Germany, and will stage his first exhibition with the Berlin gallery in 2014.
Shonibare, 49, was nominated for the Turner Prize in 2004, and his work, Nelson’s Ship in a Bottle, was the latest commission for the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square. Yinka Shonibare, MBE’s forthcoming exhibitions include Addio del Passato, James Cohan Gallery, New York, (February 2012); Anna Schwartz Gallery, Sydney, (June 2012) and Stephen Friedman Gallery, London, (Spring 2013).
