In collaboration with Blain|Southern, the Royal Academy of Arts is showing a major installation in its courtyard of four large steel sculptures by the late Lynn Chadwick.

The works, entitled Beast Alerted I, Stretching Beast I, Crouching Beast II and Lion I, were made between 1989 and 1990, and this is the first time they have been shown together in public.

Co-inciding with the installation is the largest ever survey of Chadwick's work, Lynn Chadwick: Retrospectives, opening at Blain|Southern and Blain|Di Donna galleries across London, Berlin and New York from May 2014.

Ends 16th May.
