The Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy displays works in a variety of mediums and genres by emerging and established artists as part of the world’s longest running annual display of contemporary art. This year, alongside the main exhibition, The Great Spectacle: 250 Years of the Summer Exhibition will tell the story of 250 years of the Summer Exhibition. Participating artists include Royal Academicians Sean Scully and Yinka Shonibare, and Honorary RA, Bill Viola.
